The Better Together Kitchen (BTK) team have teamed up again to create cook Book 3 and prove that we are all better together

It’s not often that a cookbook sparks joy. Very often, the thought of cooking a family feast invokes a bit of fear and intimidation. Yet, when I look at any of the BTK (Better Together Kitchen) cook books, with its gorgeous array of fresh recipes more colourful than an artist’s Derwent pencil pallet, I feel a sense of nourishment, excitement and happiness.

Two ladies, Delia and Ronnit, beautiful from both inside and out, spent their childhoods in warm homes. They grew up as passionate foodies always providing plentifully for their families. In their Jewish community, they were known as strong individuals who brought knowledge, warmth and damn good food.

But some six years ago, they came to together and created something new, which is simply magical. They combined their in-depth understanding of ingredients, love of family and passion for inspiring others to cook to create their first venture – BTK book 1.

It was a culinary delight of recipes to enhance people’s kitchens. A cookbook that everyone needs, as it provides guidance, tools, and skills to transform a family feast from mediocre to outstanding. A forte of theirs has always been showcasing healthy, nutritious recipes that home cooks can replicate with little fuss.

With lots of experiments, several years later, they came out with BTK Book two, and just recently, they have released their third baby, BTK Book Three.

With a following of over 25,000 on social media (including myself), we can now watch them in admiration, almost daily, in the comfort of our home, creating the mouth-watering and easy to follow meals. From warming winter soups, like the golden chicken, fresh vibrant salads, like the summer Fattoush, and crowd-pleasing mains like a pepper crusted eye fillet, they make it look as easy as boiling an egg and inspire me to create these master pieces at home. (and FYI, there’s often a cheeky cocktail on a Friday too).

Throughout the years, they have enthusiastically taught their loyal followers so many short cuts. Tricks like the easiest way to pickle a red onion, get a crunchy granola using egg whites, and create the perfect salad dressing – all literally transformed my dishes. This new baby book is an extension of this exuberance that takes food to that next level.

And, what’s extra special is that every copy of every book sold supports a box of fresh produce for a family in need. Once again paying tribute to the honourable souls of these exceptional women.

So, for anyone like me, who may be a bit bored in the kitchen, wanting some inspiration, or looking for some extra zest in food and life, all you need to do is grab Book 3, open up a page of the rainbow, and your table will be delighted.
