Don’t be misled, lamingtons are not on sale at Lamington Drive. In fact the only lamington you might see is an illustrated one that is then turned into art and sold on the walls of this gallery in Fitzroy.
The iconic gallery interior is made from twin-ply VISY cardboard, which is replaced and recycled each month allowing its artists (a round up of emerging and established illustrators from The Jacky Winter Group) to hold monthly exhibitions.
The gallery is moving to bigger premises in Collingwood, so in order to make room, they decided a jumble sale was in order. With artists like Dylan Martorell, Webuyyourkids, tin&ed, James Gulliver Hancock and Beci Orpin, to name a few, your walls will thank you for decorating them in talent and your bank balance will also thank for your doing so when on sale.
But you better be quick, this jumble sale only lasts till 24th July before it all gets gobbled up.
