Remember the time when someone handy could fix all your wobbly chairs, sticky drawers and look after your treasured furniture? These days, replacing rather than restoring has snuck in as the norm.
It doesn’t have to be this way though; you could learn how to restore your own furniture and acquire an ancient but helpful skill at the same time. Great Dane furniture is renowned for employing centuries old traditional Scandinavian techniques and its attention to detail is well recognised in the industry. For the first time ever, Great Dane is holding a restorers masterclass of modern classics with their workshop manager, Byron Reyneke.
Learn how to remove water marks and fix stubborn drawers. Inject some TLC into chairs by repairing wobbly legs. All participants will receive a care kit as part of the workshop including teak oil, care instructions and a Danish wool bag.
Pull on your overalls and learn from the masters.
