There is something about Richmond at the moment, it’s booming with cafes and restaurants. We’re pleased to introduce you to the newest addition; Little Somethin’ Somethin’ on Church Street.
With a young team behind it, you can feel the passion the moment you walk in. Whether it’s discussing the ins and outs of their filter coffee, or confabulating on what’s next on the salad rotation, these guys are excited about having you there.
The space came together quickly – all woods, white detailing, greenery, and a cute fireplace for the cooler days – they took over a lease from a restaurant that closed down and word on the street is it’s only for 12 months. At this stage…
Start your day with a house blend latte from Community Roasters, a 12-hour cold drip, a syphon, or perhaps a green juice pressed in house.
The breakfast menu offers favourites like eggs Benedict with pulled brisket, sourdough, and passion fruit hollandaise, or the Bircher muesli with fennel seed and orange rhubarb compote, and smoked yoghurt. Or something a little more health-savvy with the raw cacaco, activated buckwheat, mixed seed granola with hot chai latte.
For lunch, stick to sandwiches like a Reuben on Rye, salads like the Tandoori roasted cauliflower and smoked yoghurt dressing, and a handful of rotating take away options including a house made gluten free wrap made of chia seeds, flaxseeds and linseeds with pumpkin, avocado, and sundried tomatoes.
This is a gorgeous little space, which serves up a solid offering, with the little somethin’ extra.
