Move over Peter Alexander, there’s a new spot for a pyjama party in town. Sleep’n Round’s concept store on Chapel St doesn’t take itself too seriously. From the cheeky name to the fun prints, they’re clearly having fun in bed … time attire.
Their in-house textile designers Sarah Gaunt and Jacqueline Hunt work on new prints year ’round, keeping up with all the fashion trends. From short shorts and cute twin sets, to nighties and good old flannels, the Sleep’n Round designs are all about bold prints, cool patterns and lots of colour. Their women’s leggings fly out the door (whether you wear them in bed or out and about is up to you) and the men’s flannels are always popular.
You’ll find the brand stocked in small boutiques around the country, and in David Jones from July, but the Sleep’n Round store is worth a visit to see their full range.
The pyjamas aren’t all outrageous Aztec designs (another popular print) – there’s basic singlet tops and shorts if that’s all you’re after.
While you’re in the store, check out the knicknacks they’ve got for sale. We love the Eggling seed raising kits and handmade matchstick-filled test tubes. Probably not for the bedroom, but definitely fun for the home.
