From smokey spectacles to blazing behemoths, Gin Lane is (literally) on fire this winter!

Ever wondered what a Blue Mountains Blazer cocktail looks like…?

Already bored of cold and dark winter nights? Pop down to Gin Lane for some unforgettable cocktails that will warm you up and set your evening alight.

Running from June 10 to August 31, the Festival of Fire at Gin Lane will feature theatrical cocktails like you’ve never seen before. From the Harry Potter-inspired ‘Goblet of Fire’ (vodka, coconut, passionfruit and green chartreuse) to the dry ice, glowing elixir, and edible rocks of ‘Kryptonite’ (Karu gin, pavan, shisho, lemon myrtle, sichuan pepper, galangal, and grapefruit cordial), Gin Lane’s winter menu celebrates unique flavours and next-level showmanship in equal measure. Or, if you prefer classic G&T vibes, you can warm up over some Hot Gin & Tonics. With house-made tonics featuring ingredients like quinine, cinnamon bark, cinchona and spices, it’s the ultimate winter warmer for any respectable gin lover.

The mixologists at Gin Lane know how to put on a show.

If all of that wasn’t exciting enough, Gin Lane is also teaming up with Blue Mountains distillery, Karu to host two Hot Gin Terrace tasting events on July 17. For $75pp, you sample six different cocktails served with a fiery twist along. With delicious snacks also thrown into the mix over a 90-minute tasting session, it’s the ultimate cozzie-livs tonic (pun intended). And, if you’re doing Dry July or taking a break from the booze, the mixologists can make 90% of the Festival of Fire menu without alcohol. So, whatever your reasons for not drinking, you can still enjoy a spectacular experiential cocktail or two this winter.

We know from experience that Gin Lane knows how to put on a show. Last time, we tried no less than 19 of their dazzlingly creative cocktails and have the summer cocktail review (and traumatic hangover memories) to prove it! So, while we’re yet to try their latest creations for ourselves, we can highly recommend Gin Lane as a fabulous place to enjoy experiential cocktails that taste every bit as awesome as they look.
