Have you ever heard of an artist called Jean-Michel Basquiat? What about Keith Haring? Or Futura? 

Maybe you haven’t heard of the latter but he was showing in NYC galleries alongside the former in the early ’80s. He’s designed album covers for The Clash, launched his own clothing line and collaborated with the likes of Nike, The North Face and Levi’s. 

What’s left for a super successful punk to do when he’s already ruled the world? Time to hang up his Hi-tops and swap them for slippers, a crystal tumbler and double Cognac?

Like all true artists, Futura wasn’t content with the quiet life. He looked at the Hennessy bottle and thought, ‘What if?’, and proceeded to redesign the label.

You can meet Futura, the granddaddy of graffiti, at a special signing of his Hennessy V.S Limited Edition bottle at the Someday Store in Melbourne.
