Frank and Ginger Entertain Caulfield

Frank and GingerA café that has amble parking near by, and hardly any other cafés surrounding it? Well, that’s what you’ll find with Frank and Ginger, the latest addition to Caulfield’s dining scene.

If we’re being honest, we don’t usually talk much about Caulfield’s dining scene, but things change, right? The locals are celebrating, but we’re also taking the drive to squeeze into this newbie.

Brunch is standard here, but of a really good standard. There’s no fuss, in all the right kinds of ways. Granola is served with fresh fruit and lavender-infused yoghurt, porridge is topped with rhubarb, berries, and crumble, while the smashed avocado is served with two poached eggs and a salad. You’ll also find a spicy pumpkin and feta mash creation, served with pumpkin toast, hummus, beetroot relish, and poached eggs, as well as a breakfast salad of avocado, tomato, mint, haloumi and a poached egg. Pea, mint, and feta fritters with poached eggs and smoked salmon make for a sophisticated looking breakfast.

The Maling Room coffee is spot on, as is the staff. They’ve also got almond milk on high rotation for the health seekers among us.

Who’s up for a trip to Caulfield this weekend?
