NSW – VictorsFood Regional Flavours Food Tour
VictorsFood has launched a new version of its super successful Regional Produce Tour. Visit a fig plantation, a mushroom farm, Bringella Pork and Bacon and wander through an old Italian country deli sipping espresso. Learn how to cook with your fresh ingredients, work your way through a wine tasting and sit down for a long lunch under the vines.
Cost: $125 per person includes all entry fees, coach from Danks St, Waterloo tastings, lunch, wine tasting and guides.
Make like a Frenchie and cycle around the countryside of North East Victoria. Hire a bike or take your own and download a free route map, complete with recommended stops at olive groves, cheese shops, wineries, chocolate shops and cafes.
Cost: Maps are free but take some money and a backpack for your purchases.
International – Tastes of Burgundy Tour
This is the big one for truly dedicated gastronomes. Eight days of serious eating, cooking and drinking guided by elite Australian Chefs Manu Feildel, Christine Mansfield and Annie Smithers. Wander through cobblestone farmers markets, visit 13th century chateaus and eat in Michelin starred restaurants.
Cost: $8000 includes pick up from Le Creusot, seven nights accommodation in a chateau, cooking classes, cultural visits, transport for the week, all meals, wine, spirits, champagne and the return transfer to Le Creusot for onward travel.
