You can groove the evening away with gyoza, gamay or gelato at Randwick’s hottest new dining district
Foodies come one and all to enjoy flavours from across the globe paired with some cool (weather) jazz with Newmarket’s Dusk Dining. Situated in the freshly-finished Newmarket development (home to one of the coolest kids playgrounds in existence), the discerning diner can enjoy stellar food and wines from around the globe.
As you enter the grounds you are serenaded by local jazz bands and surrounded by hanging gardens and lights. A must-see is a DA favourite, Sella Vinoteca, a family-run restaurant with an impressive selection of over 150 wines.
Right next-door is the iconic Messina Gelato where you’ll find 40 freshly churned flavours, with 35 traditional flavours and 5 rotating weekly specials.
A little further through the thoroughfare and around a corner you’ll find RaRa Randwick ramen. Best enjoyed with specially imported Japanese beer, RaRa serves up authentic traditional bowls straight from the streets of Japan, complete with Toyko-esque neon lights. The signature Tonkotsu, Chicken and Vegan broths are made by a talented team of trained chefs, as are the signature Hakata style noodles. DA recommends definitely giving the gyoza a go, and the dry ramen is a delicious take on a classic meal, complete with a 64 degree poached egg.
To finish the dusk dining month, Sella Vinoteca will be hosting a special, secret menu of truffle dishes on Thursday 28th July by Executive Chef Marco Masotti, with wine pairings by sommelier Fabio Dore. If you love truffles & good wine, this is a night not to miss!
Dusk Dining will be running every Thursday until July 28th – don’t miss out!
