The Hershey factory in the US state of Pennsylvania makes 25 million (MILLION!!!) Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups every single day. That’s about one per person for the whole of the Australian population. Want one?
Save yourself a 20-hour flight, and don’t you dare miss out on Sydney’s most delicious ONE NIGHT ONLY pop-up, featuring a menu built around one of the world’s favourite candies.
On October 29, Chef Alex Wong of the SMH Good Food Guide (and a finalist for 2023 Chef of the Year) is turning Grana Privato at Hinchcliff House into THE REESE’S-restaurant not to be missed. On the menu? Eight courses of sweet and salty pairings like chicken spiedini with peanut chocolate ‘satay’, Aussie kangaroo and dark chocolate mole’, and a Wagyu rib cap with oxtail, kohlrabi and REESE’S peanut butter ‘rendang’.
Desert? It’s a sexy and playful take on the humble PB&J. You’ll be delighted.
And, you won’t leave empty-handed, either. Yours to take home? A Halloween goodie bag chock full of Reese’s chocolate products – the classic Peanut Butter & Milk Chocolate Cups, White Peanut Butter Cups, Caramel Big Cup, Miniature Cups and Sticks bars. It’s up to you if you’ll eat them yourself or share (we won’t tell).
And did I mention the $50 gift certificate House Made Hospitality is throwing in for attendees? I know, right? They can be used at any one of ten Sydney venues, including Apollonia, Lana, Martinez, and Grana. Plus, selected House Made Hospitality venues are offering a limited-edition Reese’s Peanut Butter Cookie ($6.50) and Reese’s Chocolate Croissant ($9.50) throughout the month of November.
Tickets are on sale now and going (much like Reese’s do) FAST.
Grab yours HERE and bring your bestie. This is too good not to share.
PS: It’s ‘Ree-siz’, not ‘Ree-sees’ – just so you know.
