Keeping it R.E.A.L

You: make a small change
Humanity: says thanks

Social entrepreneur Virginia Bruce believes in the butterfly effect. It’s plain to see how much so in her newly opened philanthropic designer store.

The r.e.a.l store represents ordinary products with extraordinary messages to inspire, engage and facilitate positive social change.

At least ten per cent of the store’s sales are used to support and raise awareness for a number of different charitable campaigns Virginia is involved in, including indigenous literacy with the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation, and housing for children displaced in the Congolese civil war with NGO Save the Children, and Hands that Shape Humanity – a social enterprise committed to inspiring human potential.

You’ll find beautiful clothing, accessories, homewares, furniture, jewellery, candles, stationery and artwork, all carefully selected to communicate a message for humanity. Look carefully and you’ll find your thank you message in the provenance, concept, design, writing or graphics, in, on or around every store item.
