Josh Goot fans rejoice. For a short time, actually only until this Sunday 24 October, Josh Goot has taken up residence and joined the fashion mecca on High Street Armadale.
The store (once Ksubi’s home) denotes an unrefined raw gallery complete with high walls and cement floors, strewn with racks of Goot’s enticing attire. By day there’s a flood of natural light pouring into the modern, yet minimalist space and by night, projections of his latest campaign light up the room.
Infamous for his use of brave graphic prints, structured symmetry and impeccable tailoring, the pop up shop showcases an exclusive selection of pieces from Goot’s autumn/winter “Lightning” and the modern spring summer jersey wardrobe line.
While this Sydney boy made his eponymous label debut only five years ago, he’s grown to become an inspiring Australian fashion force. His unmistakable use of colour, sultry style and pragmatic precision has made the world stage sit up, stare and become spellbound by the kaleidoscope that has become his signature.
It’s sexy, fun and so right now. Get your goot on before it disappears.
