Have you seen Stephen Wiltshire’s work? If you haven’t, we politely insist that you do.

Stephen’s gifts were discovered when, as a child, he was diagnosed as autistic. Now known for drawing spectacular representations of urban sprawls – the likes of Rome, Hong Kong, Moscow, Dubai and New York, his work is popular all over the world.

They’re popular because they’re intricate, and sometimes drawn from memory after having only observed them briefly. We’re talking serious minutiae at a cursory glance.

Case in point, Stephen will climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, have a 360 degree look around, and proceed to draw what he’s seen of our cityscape.

Invited to Australia by Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) to coincide with Autism Month, you can watch him draw live on Tuesday 27 April. Note the new live drawing times; due to a pesky Icelandic volcanic eruption Stephen’s intended arrival this week has been postponed.
