The name says it all. Everyone on board this big, navy blue truck is happy. The pizzas come hot straight out of the wood fire oven – Napoli-style, they’re thin, crispy and hit the spot. Wash a slice down with a Nutella shake.

It’s not all about burgers. The Veggie Patch Van cruises around Sydney bringing people their daily serve of vegies in the tastiest way possible. From vegan espresso brownies to beetroot salad, beat those winter blues with a takeaway vitamin fix.

The Nighthawk Diner
The silver airstream lovingly nicknamed Queen Latifa has been built from the ground up and she’s kept busy churning out classic American diner food with a twist – think mac n cheeseburgers and Cuban sandwiches. Even the bun is made from scratch.

The Cake Kombi
The newest set of meals on wheels is this beautifully restored 1972 Kombi van with Franca Zingler in the driver’s seat. The baker has spent the past few years busy with Cornersmith and Adriano Zumbo but is striking out on her own and bringing her European roots to the oven. Doughnuts, Swedish cinnamon buns, spelt cakes, tartlets and more are delivered fresh to Redfern Continental. Ok, so it’s not technically a food truck, but if you see this Kombi on the road, stay close to its wheels.

Eat Art Truck
The godfather of Sydney food trucks, Eat Art Truck does a roaring trade in pulled pork buns and spicy nachos wherever it pulls up around town. The team have also just opened Thievery, a permanent Middle Eastern restaurant in Glebe.

The Inner West is where you’ll usually find this burger truck – although they do make special appearances around town – just make sure you head on over as soon as you have their location. The Mister Gee burgers sell out and they sell out fast. The Fatboy, The Truffe and Cheeseboogie are a few of our favourites – with just one type of burger served each night.
