There’s nothing saintly about traipsing down to ‘Heart Attack Grill’, and ordering yourself up a plate of their double bypass burger, right?
Thanks to The Dip (latest edition to Goodgod Small Bar), the owners are treating Sydney’s waistline conscious and fun enthusiasts to a healthy fast food dining alternative.
The Dip is a collaborative venture between DJ’s and mischief-makers Andrew Levins and Bianca Khalil, along with Goodgod’s Hana Shimada and Jimmy Sing.
Taking its cue from a 1950’s rock-and-roll style underground canteen, this side serving comes equipped with cosy booths (great for groups) and other inspired kitsch paraphernalia that will help get you ‘in the mood’.
The music takes you back to a certain time and place. It’s an unpredictable joint where you could be forgiven for starting your own conga line or challenging your partner to ‘The world famous, Jack Rabbit Slim’s Twist Contest!’
Whether it’s the long haul or a quick roadie, you can’t go pass the Dinky Dam Skippy Burger, Grilled Corn (BYO toothpicks) and Salsa Fries.
