What’s all the puffing about? It’s progressive interval training and incorporates the fundamental components of physical conditioning, explains North Bondi local and Shift60 Founder and Director, Damien Chapman.
Some of their programs use cable systems, free weights, BOSU discs and a series of core stability exercises with the TRX suspension trainer. Others focus on elements of metabolic training, achieved through high intensity cardio intervals on the Rolls-Royce of Woodway treadmills (used by NASA, the NFL, NBA and US Military). All are designed to make you strong and lean, and where ‘try hards’ are considered the high achievers.
You can choose from seven different interval based 60-minute programs, all of which include 30 minutes of aerobic conditioning and 30 minutes of functional resistance training.
