Everyone knows that buying beautiful things for your home doesn’t count. You know what we mean.
Towels, candles, notepads, clocks, wall hangings, cute little door stops shaped like dogs – they’re all essential items. It’s retail therapy without the guilt factor.
Here’s our guide to a few bits and bobs you need around the home – that’s right, everyone needs a state of the art food processor! Sshh, we won’t tell anyone if you don’t.
Magimix Patissier Multifunction Processor
Like we said, everyone needs a food processor. The difference is the Magimix Patissier is no ordinary food processor. It’s your one stop shop for anything you ever wanted to chop. It can dice, blend, knead dough, whisk egg whites and juice. And there’s just three buttons. It needs to be on your bench, put to work, to be believed.
RRP $1199. Available from Myer, David Jones & selected homewares retailers or magimix.com.au

The Good Life Tupperware
The brand new Tupperware Spring Summer Collection, aptly named The Good Life, is out now and you know what they say about spring cleaning, well there’s never been a better time to reorganise your pantry cupboards. Throw out those dodgy takeaway containers and fill your shelves with eye popping containers with a life time guarantee and one hell of a seal. The Coastal Picnic Set comes with plenty of containers for the cupboard, a cool esky bag and a portable dip container. Did we mention the containers are pink?
Kitchen Aid Platinum Stand Mixer
The queen of all cake making accessories, a Kitchen Aid should be in, and on display, inside every kitchen. The hardest decision to make is what colour Kitchen Aid you’re going to get – hot tip, Kitchen Aid has its own Colourology Test you can take to help you choose and it is hilarious but scarily accurate. We love the Blueberry Platinum Kitchen Aid. The deep blue body looks great in cream kitchens and the glass bowl works a charm whipping up egg whites and more.
RRP $849, kitchenaid.com.au

The second collection of The Hall is summer inspired with beach umbrellas, larger-than-life beach towels, bamboo serveware and so on, all in fun, bright colours included tropical and watermelon prints.
