Nutrition Bar now nourishing

994693_658863207488356_1308659809_nHealth is more than about food these days it’s a whole wave of eating and living. And clean eating has become a large part of that. Yet clean eating and eating out have never really gone hand in hand. Until now.

The Nutrition Bar, that just opened its doors on Swan Street in Richmond, is looking after the health nut in all of us with a completely clean café/juice bar. Whether you’re into health foods or not, there are days when all you want is a nice, fresh guilt-free lunch without the hassle of making it at home.

With a small juice bar vibe, and a handful of seats, this isn’t a café by any means. It’s more of a buy now and take off type situation. And we’re ok with that. The Nutruition Bar is all about juices, smoothies, superfoods, ready made salads and lunch options from egg white frittatas to Greek salads. The sweet tooth is taken care of by the chocolate and vanilla protein balls and raw cacao cheesecakes.

The thing exciting us most? The acai and breakfast bowls. Acai, the South American berry that is linked to all sorts of health and weight loss benefits is blended with your choice of liquids, topped with fruit and superfoods. Delicious.

They cater for all allergy concerns, and serve up only the healthy stuff. The perfect spot for a healthy craving or two.
