Picked by Time magazine as a top 100 design influencer, Scott Schuman (aka The Satorialist) is one photographer with some serious street cred.
His now famous and much-loved blog, thesartorialist.com, is his showcase for the wonderful and varied sartorial tastes of real people across the globe.
Scott is going to be coming out to Australia soon to do two huge book signings that will be hosted by Sass & Bide. His book is a beautiful anthology of favourite images, accompanied by insightful commentary, deconstructing zeitgeist moments along the arteries of each visited city.
It includes photographs of well-known fashion figures, and mostly ordinary people encountered on the street whose personal style and taste demand a closer look.
You can chat to Scott, mingle with fashion folk and peers, and get a signed hard copy of his eye-pleasing work.
And don’t forget to don one of your finest ensembles as Scott will be handpicking people from the crowd to attend a photo shoot the following day to appear on his blog.
