The Scene: Peacock Lane by Yellowglen and Samantha Wills.
A dinner where the wild things grow, dusk-to-dawn garden party held for 30 in Bishopscourt grounds, Darling Point.
The Premise: Two expert craftswomen – New York-based boho luxe jewellery designer Samantha Wills and Yellowglen Chief Winemaker Trina Smith – create something that breaks aesthetic norms to inspire and introduce a new generation to the magic of sparkling.
Inspired by: Femininity and beauty, the effervescent spirit of celebration, invention and romance of two Australian icons.
We’re hooked on: Getting lost down Peacock Lane. A magical, decadent world of beauty and opulence. Wandering through green fields and a candle-lit path and stumbling across an inviting boho noir party setting. Starting with a tea cup of Yellowglen sparkling cocktails – choose your pleasure from ‘Strawberry Fields’, ‘Midsummer Nights’ and ‘A Vintage Affair’. Where the rush of the pop of a cork takes you somewhere refined with friends. Dining at dusk under vines, sharing plates and good conversation. The azul blue peacock illustrated by Kelly Smith.
However: Not everyone’s invited. Those lucky will find a secret code to discover more.
Your takeaway: The look for your next garden soiree:
