Perhaps it’s the distance of being 47 floors up that makes hearts grow fonder. Or the divine seasonal cocktails in a new revolving lounge. One thing’s for sure, Michael Moore’s new tapas bar is one sensual playground for grown-ups.
Everything about it says luxury; curl up on the dark leather sofas, drape yourself over Rubicon chairs. If it were your own place you’d let your toes feel the sumptuous black carpets.
At this altitude, it’s all about fragrant flavor bustin’ tapas and seamless table service. Highlights include tartlets filled with garlic mushrooms, rack of soy n ginger kissed salmon tacos and a duo of perfectly proportioned chilli chicken sliders. Tip (you can thank us later) … put in a double order of the impossibly moorish crispy braised duck rolls. Back it up with a desert platter if you dare.
Cocktail lovers will be closer to heaven thanks to an international team from London’s Mahiki, Melbourne’s Vue de Monde and Sydney’s own Hemmesphere. The signature ‘Long Lychee’ with 42 Below Vodka sporting a basil crush will disappear in nano seconds.
As the sun sets and the indoors blends into the darkness beyond, revel in views that make your spine tingle in a way your date won’t quite be able to match.
