QV Sister’s Christmas Market
Twilight? If you’re quick. This one wraps up at 7pm after a day’s trading but it’s worth a sneaky mention for its beautiful artisan stallholders setting up shop at QV for the first time – and just in the nick of time.
It’s the QV Sister’s Market for just six key dates to get you through your Christmas shopping list with crafty aplomb. Expect 45 local artisans with performing artists and live music to add to the festive feeling.
Shop up a storm between midday to 7pm for six days in December – Thursday, December 13, Friday December 14, Saturday December 15, Thursday December 20, Friday December 21, and Saturday December 22
St Kilda Twilight Market
Another summer, another summer season of the St Kilda Twilight Markets. Think bazaar meets bizarre in that inimitable St Kilda-style; vintage and emerging fashion, jewellers and art.
It all happens at O’Donnell Gardens on Thursday nights – all the way through to February 28, 2013. Palm tress and Luna Park fresh from its centenary makes this little old seaside locale a great place to be.

Suzuki Night Market
This one’s on a Wednesday. Sure there are usually all the ‘as seen on TV’ bargains mixing it up with the cheap and cheerful imports that make great stocking fillers but when Queen Victoria Market transitions from day to evening with the Suzuki Night Markets, it’s all about the artisan. 200+ stalls including clothing, jewellery and artworks. And food options to sustain your shopping fix.
